Winter Steelhead Fishing Report 2.6.11

With temps forecast near the 30 degree mark I finally made my way back to the local steelhead river.  Still not a lot of big fish in the river, but just enough small fish to keep things interesting.  We spent the majority of the day watching floats in the lower river, with some success.  Centerpin Kyle tied up some wicked looking intruders and we also dedicated a few runs to swung flies.  He had a solid grab that didn't last...still an accomplish in ice cold February waters.
