Fishing Logs 3.1.11

I've kept a fishing log in one form or another for about 10 years.  They're fun to look back on years down the road and especially helpful for planning future fishing trips based on past successes.  I recommend any serious angler give it a try.  Jason Puris of http://www.thefin.com/ recently put together an article on fishing logs with input from several anglers from around the country.  I recommend checking it out here!

  1. Awesome. This is what I use my blog for. To log where I fished and what I used. The best part for me is to see the time of year. So I have an idea of what flies worked for the seasons. That's pretty impressive to keep a log for 10yrs. Nice blog by the way.

  2. Kev2380,
Exactly! Recalling a fly pattern for a specific hatch that only lasts a week is difficult to remember the following year. Gotta write it down.
    Thanks for stopping by.
