Winter Steelhead

Mid winter thaws are typically great opportunities for steelhead fishing and today was no exception.  Its always a pleasure to fish with temps above the freezing mark and sure makes casting easier with clean eyelets and warm fingers.  The rivers are up and I would expect fishing to continue to improve as water levels return to normal.  Put 3 in the net today including this gal who crushed a big lead eyed streamer fished on the swing.
