Alaska Float Trip - Kisaralik River

Kisaralik River
Kisaralik River
Alaska is an amazing place, a true fly fisherman's paradise.  We spent 10 days floating the Kisaralik; a big river known for big rainbows, dolly varden, and aggressive silver salmon.  This is our second wilderness float trip in Alaska, such an amazing way to fish a river and really experience what Alaska has to offer.  There is already much written about the Kisaralik and other great Alaskan rivers, so instead of a detailed trip report I plan to offer a few "how-to's" on fishing Alaska and planning your own Alaska fishing trip.  Below are some of my favorite pictures from our adventure on the Kisaralik.
